Pour into molds when ready. Soap Making Scents For cold process soap, add fragrance oil at light trace, using 0.75-1.5 oz per pound of soap base. Test for fragrance stability and color change in a small batch first.For melt and pour soap, add fragrance after the base has melted but before it cools too much (around 55-60°C or 130-140°F), at about 0.5-1 oz per pound of soap.Stir well to avoid pockets of oil and pour into molds.
