100% pure Australian Tea Tree (Melaleuca) Essential Oil is famous for its powerful medicinal properties. TeaTree oil is a go-to natural remedy for body health and household use. Tea Tree Essential Oil (aceite de árbol de té or aceite de arbol) is a common ingredient for treating acne and toenail issues. Our Tea Tree Oil (often misspelled tee tree oul, tea trea, teatree) is harvested and steam distilled in Australia, and then bottled in the USA. When diffused in an essential oil diffuser for aromatherapy, Tea Tree Essential Oil can help cleanse the air in your home. When diluted with water and vinegar, it creates a powerful household spray cleaner. Everyday Uses For aromatherapy, add 5-10 drops of Tea Tree Oil to an essential oils diffuser. To freshen your laundry, add 2-3 drops of Tea Tree oil to your favorite liquid laundry detergent for extra odor-fighting power. For acne and other blemishes, apply 2-3 drops directly to face using a cotton ball. Allow oil to rejuvenate the skin before washing away. Likewise, for toe nail treatment, apply 2-3 drops to the affected area using a cotton ball. Avoid direct contact with the eyes; rinse eyes thoroughly with water if oils enter the eye. This tea tree oil is excellent for so many things. Do not ingest. Use topically. Helps with keeping cuts clean. Helps with the pain of bug bites and stings. Use with soothing carrier oil for fungus on skin or elsewhere on your body. I've used as a remedy for cold sores on corners of mouth. Also used it in a cool steamer for relief of coughs from colds and bronchitis. It's literally magic in a bottle. Read more about it for additional uses and benefits. Will always buy this brand again and again! Great price for an awesome product.Great quality.I have never written an Amazon review this quickly after receiving the product before, I wish I could say it was for a good reason.I don’t relish leaving negative product reviews, but when it’s warranted, I feel I must.On the plus side the Tea Tree Oil arrived promptly, on the date promised. At first sight I was impressed by the packaging. The bottle arrived in a large box, (along with some other items I had ordered) but the Tea Tree Oil was safely packaged in a snug nest of bubble wrap, along with a glass eyedropper, which was wrapped separately, both tucked securely in its own cozy little (clearly labeled) neat, white corrugated cardboard box.First I unwrapped the eye dropper. It was in pristine condition. Then I unwrapped the bottle. It was also in perfect condition. The branding looks clean and uncluttered. I was really expecting a quality product. Then I opened the bottle and tested it, applying a small drop to my wrist— oh. My. GOD!Ok, I am usually brand-loyal but my usual brand was unavailable in the large size bottle so I bought this instead.Yes, the price of this item did catch my eye at first, but honestly the reason I ordered this brand (vs. the myriad of other Tea Tree Oils available thru AmazonPrime) was the many glowing reviews. Plus I figured “Tea Tree Oil is Tea Tree Oil anyway”, right? Wrong. So very wrong.I’m not saying all the good reviews I read are inauthentic. Maybe I was sent a bottle from a bad batch. Maybe the bottle I received was kept in a sweltering hot locker in a non-air conditioned storage facility. Maybe the cover of the vat popped open during shipping and through a series of clerical errors— it wound up being transported by train, loaded onto a cattle car. I don’t know. But what I DO know, was if that was an aberration, so be it— but if that’s the case (and I have no way of knowing if anything like that actually DID happen) but if something like that DID, then that would speak to a need for better quality control… or at least SOME.And of course (just for argument’s sake) we have to consider the possibility that it is also possible some odd individuals actually enjoy deliberately applying products to make themselves smell like a barn. I don’t think that’s likely but who knows? There’s all kinds of people in this world, so in theory, it’s possible. Not remotely likely in my opinion but I guess hypothetically possible.I do know ONE thing for sure: this did NOT smell like Tea Tree Oil.Just so we’re clear, I’ll describe the scent… words can’t really do it justice, but just to give a rough idea, here goes:The closest smell I could compare it to would be foul the stench of animal dung that clings to your hands and clothes and lingers in your sinus cavity after you’ve been horseback riding or feeding goats at a petting zoo… that acrid stank, plus one small drop of rancid Tea Tree Oil.I’m not exaggerating when I tell you it was so vile and disgusting, I literally gagged. I applied to one small patch on my wrist an wash it off with soap and water AND THEN jump into he shower right away to wash the horrid smell of that foul tincture off myself ASAP. I can’t really speak to the effectiveness of the product. It may moisturize better than 3 cases of cocoa butter. It might cure the common cold, it might heal sucking chest wounds. I will never know this, because I do NOT want the nasty, putrid stench of this product anywhere near me ever again. The good:This is a good product at a good price. I looked around and it's among the cheapest options. It's high quality, high potency oil. It includes a dropper. I saw a review saying the dropper is included but is loose. It is loose, but it has threading and can be used as a lid in place of what the bottle is packaged with. The bad:It has a strong smell. I have used less concentrated, less potent varieties that don't smell as strongly, but that is the trade off. The smell is not unpleasant. The complicated:I started using tea tree oil to get rid of my persistent, insidious toenail fungus. Nothing else has ever worked, including prescription fungal treatments, several over the counter oils and sprays marketed specifically for toenail fungas, and foot sprays. The tea tree oil is the only thing that has worked. Understand that you have to apply it every day a couple of times a day so that the toenails are soaked with it and the skin around and under the nail absorb it. The goal is to keep the toe infused with the tea tree oil at all times until the fungus is gone. You have to keep applying it until all of the infected growth is replaced by new growth, which could take several months. I'm about a month in and all of the new growth nail is pink and clear. You can forget it from time to time, but keep in mind that if you forget it for a few days, the fungus is opportunistic, it will start to grow into the unspoiled growth and you're extending the period of time you need to keep applying it.The verdict:Tea tree oil is a powerful supplement for a variety of purposes. I use soaps and hair products sometimes with tea tree oil. It's very astringent and strong, It will strip your hair if you use it too much or in too high a concentration. And it's the only thing that has been effective on my ringworm and toenail fungus. I couldn't recommend tea tree oil more, and I'm totally satisfied with this product in particular.I love tea tree oil, and finding it in bulk is amazing, especially when it works just as well. I have severe acne that I have treated with every prescription currently available, as well as accutane-- twice (which you really shouldn't do). Tea tree is the only topic product that I have found that works. Only downside is that there really are no studies that look at long term effects, as compared to prescriptions. And don't listen to any idiots who say natural products have no side effects--of course they do! Acne killing is a side effect of putting a plant's defensive oils on your skin! So please keep this in mind when choosing natural remedies.I use this to refill my small bottle for traveling and keep this at home.Like all tea tree, it has a very strong, earthy smell, and if you are not used to it, it can be overpowering. This one is slightly different from others that I've had, and I would describe it as more subtle. Most people dilute their tea tree, but I don't, and I just place it directly on my acne. If you don't have sensitive skin, you could possibly do this too, but you really need to test it first. Tea tree is strong, but if you have really really oily skin, like me, it doesn't have the same effects. It's almost as if I already dilute it with how oily my skin is . . . For others, you should dilute it!The stopper did harden after enough time, but this is expected with rubber products . . .and I've had it for months! This oil did nothing for my psoriasis, if anything, it made it flare up more, I'm very disappointed with this product. It may work for others, but it certainly did nothing for me.Waste of money for me.I love it I am very satisfied with it and I will order when I will need it.Excellent product and easy to use thanks to the supplied dropperTea tree oil is amazing to have you can use it for so many different things it helped great with my spots however I would dilute it down just a bit otherwise it can make your skin burn which causes unwanted red marksExcellent
